Somerton Castle, Lincolnshire

Somerton Castle is the remains of a 13th-century castle near Boothby Graffoe, Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Kesteven. Antony Bek built the castle after being granted a licence to crenellate in 1281. In 1309 Bek gave the castle as a gift to Edward II. A single tower of the castle survives, along with an L-shaped late 16th-century wing. It is within the council area of North Kesteven (Lincolnshire).
