Somers Town, Hampshire
Somers Town (or Somerstown) is an urban area in Portsmouth, Hampshire, on Portsea Island. The area, first developed from the 1820s, was named from the landowner. It was substantially redeveloped after major bombing damage during the Second World War. It is within the council area of Portsmouth.
