Slieve Gullion North Cairn, Armagh
Slieve Gullion North Cairn is a 50ft-diameter round cairn without kerb stones, located on the summit of Slieve Gullion on the border of the townlands of Ballard and Slieve Gullion, County Armagh. Excavation in 1961 revealed two small cists, one with fragments of food vessel pottery and burned bone, suggesting a Bronze Age date. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
