Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Sleaford is a market town in Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Kesteven. The first settlement formed in the Iron Age where a prehistoric track crossed the River Slea. Sleaford Castle was built for the Bishops of Lincoln in the early 1120s. The town is within the council area of North Kesteven (Lincolnshire).
