Silbury Hill, Wiltshire
Silbury Hill is a Prehistoric artificial chalk mound near Avebury, Wiltshire. It forms part of the Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hill was constructed in several stages between c. 2400~2300 BC. It stands around 130ft high and covers 5 acres. Its original purpose is a subject of speculation. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
