Shipton Hall, Shropshire

Shipton Hall is a large Elizabethan country house in Shipton, Shropshire. The present house was built around 1587 for Richard Lutwyche to replace an older timber-framed house. The Hall was greatly rebuilt in the Georgian style in the mid-18th century, with rococo interior decor by Thomas Farnolls Pritchard. The house is within the council area of Shropshire.
