Shelton, Staffordshire
Shelton is a former village that is now an urban area to the south-west of Hanley, with which it is contiguous, in Staffordshire. Hanley and Shelton were, by Act of Parliament, united into one market town in 1812, though they retain distinct identities. Shelton is within the council area of Stoke-on-Trent.
