Sheeptown, Down
Sheeptown is a small village in County Down. It is within the townland of Sheeptown, in the civil parish of Newry. The village lies along the old road between Newry and Rathfriland, much of the housing dating from the 20th century. St Joseph's Church (RC) was dedicated in 1819, replacing an earlier mass house. The village is within the council area of Newry, Mourne and Down.
