Selborne Priory, Hampshire
Selborne Priory is a ruined Augustinian priory near Selborne, Hampshire. The priory was founded in 1233 by Peter des Roches, Bishop of Winchester. It was apparently dilapidated by 1484, at which point it was annexed to Magdalen College, Oxford. Although no visible remains can be seen above ground, archaeological investigations have revealed the remains of the church, cloister and other buildings. Priory Farm occupies part of the site. The monument is within the council area of East Hampshire (Hampshire).
