Sedgwick Castle, Sussex
Sedgwick Castle is a mediæval moated site adjacent to Sedgwick Park near Nuthurst, Sussex. It dates from the 12th/13th century and continued in use into the 16th century. The monument includes two concentric ditches, internal areas, ponds and an outer enclosure. The flat central area has a number of stretches of walling, including part of a 13th-century curtain wall. The monument is within the council area of Horsham (West Sussex).
