Seaton Hall, Cumberland
Seaton Hall is a 16th-century house in Cumberland. It incorporates the remains of Benedictine nunnery founded circa 1190 as a cell of Nunburnholme Priory. After circa 1313 it became an independent nunnery until dissolved 1540. The only visible external remains of the Priory are part of the chapel. The house was built within the ruins in the 16th century and was restored in the 19th century. It is within the council area of Cumberland.
