Scratchbury Camp, Wiltshire

Scratchbury Camp is an Iron Age univallate hillfort on Scratchbury Hill, overlooking the Wylye valley near Norton Bavant, Wiltshire. The fort covers an area of 37 acres and occupies the summit of the hill. The hillfort, which dates from around 100 BC, contains the remains of an earlier and smaller D-shaped enclosure. Six bowl barrows are within the interior of the hillfort. It is within the council area of Wiltshire.
