MenuScrabo Hillfort, Down
Scrabo Hillfort is a hillfort which encloses part of the summit of Scrabo Hill in the townland of Scrabo, County Down. It is oval in shape, around 295ft x 120 in extent. It consists of a badly mutilated stone-cored earthen bank with a ditch on the inside which is now filled in. Excavations have suggested a date of around the 5th century AD. The monument is in the care of the Department for Communities. The monument is within the council area of Ards and North Down.
