Saxonbury Camp, Sussex
Saxonbury Camp is an Iron Age hillfort, situated on Saxonbury Hill in Eridge Old Park, Sussex. The hillfort survives as a bank surrounded by an outer ditch, enclosing a roughly oval level area of about 2½ acres. A 19th-century folly is situated at the centre of the hillfort and is a tall, brick-built circular tower of five stages. It is within the council area of Wealden (East Sussex).
