Sand, Devon

Sand is a late 16th-century house near Sidmouth, Devon. The house is the ancient seat of the Sands, Ashleys and Huyshes. The present house was built by Rowland Huyshe around 1594. There are remains of heraldic glass in the Great Hall window. It is within the council area of East Devon (Devon).
