Saltpetre House, Hampshire

Saltpetre House is a building used to make Saltpetre, located in Ashurst Wood, Hampshire. The building may only have been in use from about 1560 to the end of the 16th century. The site now consists of banks of various sizes enclosed in a rectangular area about 300ft x 150ft. It is within the council area of New Forest (Hampshire).
