The Salt Way is an ancient trade route used to transport salt from Droitwich, Worcestershire to various regions across England. The section immediately to the east of Droitwich forms the present-day B4090 and is known as "Saltway". This section of the routeway is within the council area of Wychavon (Worcestershire).
