Salt Way, Gloucestershire

The Salt Way is an ancient routeway which passes through Gloucestershire. It formed part of a routeway used for transporting salt from the Cheshire salt mines to the River Thames at Lechlade. The section of the Salt Way to the east of Coln St Dennis forms an unclassified road known as "Salt Way". This section of the routeway is within the council area of Cotswold (Gloucestershire).
