Runston, Monmouthshire

Runston is a deserted mediæval village near Caerwent, Monmouthshire. The village was in decline by the 16th century and, by 1785, had been entirely abandoned. The ruins of the 12th-century chapel are the only visible remains. The site is within the council area of Monmouthshire.
