Runnymede, Surrey

Runnymede is a water-meadow famous as the site at which King John sealed the Magna Carta in 1215, situated alongside the River Thames in Surrey. The area is also the site of several memorials, including the John F Kennedy Memorial, the American Bar Association's Magna Carta Memorial and the Air Forces Memorial. The site is within the council area of Runnymede (Surrey).
