Rufus Stone, Hampshire

The Rufus Stone is a memorial marking the spot where William II was killed in 1100, situated near Upper Canteron, in the New Forest, Hampshire. The original stone memorial was erected by John Lord Delaware in 1745. This was encased in cast iron by William Sturgess Bourne in 1841. It is within the council area of New Forest (Hampshire).
