Rottingdean, Sussex
Rottingdean is a coastal village in Sussex. It is listed in Domesday as 'Rotingeden'. There are many historic buildings including the Black Horse public house, built during the reign of Henry VIII. The old manor house dates from the 16th century. The Elms, one-time home of Rudyard Kipling, dates from around 1750. St Margaret's Church dates from the 13th century. The village is within the council area of Brighton and Hove.
