The Roman Ridge is a series of ancient linear earthworks to the north of Rotherham, Yorkshire, in the West Riding. They are believed to originally have formed a single dyke running from near Wincobank to Mexborough. Its purpose and date of construction are unknown. Despite the name, they are not necessarily thought to be Roman. The section to the east of Nether Haugh forms a bank marking a field boundary. This section is within the council area of Rotherham.
