Ritton Castle, Shropshire
Ritton Castle is a small late Bronze Age / early iron Age hillfort near Shelve, Shropshire. During the Mediæval period a ringwork and bailey castle was built on the site, utilising some of its ramparts. It is within the council area of Shropshire.
