Riseholme, Lincolnshire

Riseholme is a hamlet in Lincolnshire, in the Parts of Lindsey. The original village for Riseholme was depopulated by the 17th century, the site lying within the parkland of Riseholme Hall. The use of the name 'riseholme' in the present-day relates to housing developed in the 20th century along Riseholme Lane, to the east of Riseholme Park, along with a few older buildings outside the park itself. The hamlet is within the council area of West Lindsey (Lincolnshire).
