Ringsbury Camp, Wiltshire
Ringsbury Camp is an Iron Age multivallate hillfort near Westrop Farm in Wiltshire. It is situated on an outcrop of coral rag with views over the clay plain southwards towards the Marlborough Downs. The monument is eight acres in extent and is defined by an inner bank up to 15ft high surrounded by a ditch 10ft deep. This in turn is surrounded by an outer bank 6ft high. There is a single entrance to the east. The fort is within the council area of Wiltshire.
