Rhyl, Flintshire
Rhyl (Welsh: Y Rhyl) is a seaside resort town in Flintshire, on the eastern bank of the mouth of the River Clwyd. Rhyl has long been a popular tourist destination, drawing great numbers in particular from Liverpool and elsewhere in southern Lancashire. Once an elegant Victorian resort, the changes in holiday patterns after the Second World War changed the face of the town. Rhyl is within the council area of Denbighshire.
