Redesdale Camp, Northumberland

Redesdale Camp is a former military training camp in Northumberland. The camp was closed around 2005 and by 2009 most of the buildings had been demolished and removed. The site also lies on the plots of two Roman Camps, part of a large network of Roman military sites clustered around Bremenium Roman Fort and Dere Street. The smaller camp is exceptionally well preserved and both are good examples of their type. It is within the council area of Northumberland.
