Ramsey Abbey Gatehouse, Huntingdonshire
Ramsey Abbey Gatehouse is the ruined 15th-century gatehouse of the former Ramsey Abbey at Ramsay, Huntingdonshire. During the mediæval period Ramsey Abbey was one of the most prestigious abbeys in East Anglia. The surviving gatehouse contains superb carvings and an ornate oriel window. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Huntingdonshire (Cambridgeshire).
