Ralph Crosses, Yorkshire
The Ralph Crosses are a pair of wayside crosses, Old Ralph Cross and Young Ralph Cross, located on Ledging Hill at Rosedale Head, Yorkshire, in the North Riding. The crosses are believed to date from the 11th century and are made of hard gritstone. Old Ralph cross stands about 6 feet tall. Young Ralph cross stands about 10 feet tall. The distinctive profile of this cross is used as the emblem of the North York Moors National Park. The crosses are within the council area of North Yorkshire.
