Rainbarrows, Dorset
The Rainbarrows is a group of three prehistoric bowl barrows on Duddle Heath, Dorset. The group is aligned north-west by south-east and situated on an upper terrace of south-facing slope overlooking the Frome Valley. The barrows each have a mound composed of earth, gravel and turf, with maximum dimensions of between 50ft-80ft in diameter and between approximately 4ft-5ft in height. The monument is within the council area of Dorset.
