Radstock, Somerset
Radstock is a town in Somerset, lying on the Wellow Brook. The Roman Fosse Way passes west of the town. It is believed to be of great antiquity and was listed as Stoche in Domesday. From the mid 18th century it grew as a mining town. The church of St Nicholas has a west tower dating from the 15th century. Radstock Museum is housed in the former market hall. The town is within the council area of Bath and North East Somerset.
