Queen Eleanor's Bower, Shropshire

Queen Eleanor's Bower is a mediæval ringwork situated on a knoll near the base of Haughmond Hill near Uffington, Shropshire. There are extensive views of the Severn valley, including the mediæval urban centre of Shrewsbury to the south-west. It is not known where its name originated. It is within the council area of Shropshire.
