Queen's Park, Renfrewshire

Queens Park is a park in the Southside of Glasgow which gives its name to the surrounding area, the local railway station and football team. It is in the civil parish of Cathcart in Renfrewshire. The park was developed in the late 19th century and dedicated to the memory of Mary, Queen of Scots - Mary lost the Battle of Langside near the park. It is within the council area of City of Glasgow.
