Quedgeley, Gloucestershire
Quedgeley is a suburban town situated near the east bank of the River Severn to the south-west of Gloucester, Gloucestershire. Into the 20th century, Quedgeley remained a village along the old Roman road between Gloucester and Bristol. Significant housing development began from the 1950s. St James' Church dates from the early 13th century. The town is within the council area of Gloucester (Gloucestershire).
