Quarr Abbey, Hampshire
Quarr Abbey is a contemporary monastery of Benedictine monks, developed from 1907 around the 18th-century Quarr Abbey House, near Fishbourne, Isle of Wight, Hampshire. Pevsner described the abbey as "among the most daring and successful church buildings of the early 20th century in England". The 20th-century monastery is adjacent to the ruins of the 12th-century Cistercian monastery, also known as Quarr Abbey. The site is within the council area of Isle of Wight.
