Pudsey, Yorkshire
Pudsey is a market town in Yorkshire, in the West Riding. The town was famous in the 18th and 19th centuries for wool manufacture. Pudsey is famous for its cricketing tradition. England cricketers Sir Len Hutton, Herbert Sutcliffe, Raymond Illingworth and Matthew Hoggard began their careers in the town. The town is within the council area of Leeds.
