Prior's Wood Hall, Lancashire

Prior's Wood (or Priorswood) Hall is a late-17th-century house at Dalton Lees near Parbold in Lancashire. The hall had alterations made in the 19th century. It was reportedly to be haunted by the 'The White Lady' who appeared on the lawn when death threatened the occupants of the hall. Priests 'hiding holes' are reported to have been constructed within the building. It is a Grade-II listed building. It is within the council area of West Lancashire (Lancashire).
