Princetown, Brecknockshire

Princetown is a hamlet situated between the heads of the Sirhowy Valley and the Rhymney valley in the far south of Brecknockshire. It developed during the 19th century along the heads of valleys road close to local quarries. It is believed to have been named in honour of the then Prince of Wales. The village is within the council area of Blaenau Gwent.
