Powis Castle (Welsh: Castell Powys) is a mediæval castle, fortress and grand country mansion near Welshpool, Montgomeryshire. It has attractive formal gardens, terraces, parkland, a deer park and landscaped estate. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Powys.
