Powderham Castle is the earthwork remains of a 12th-century castle near Crondall, Hampshire. It is believed to have been built by the Bishop of Winchester in 1147, during The Anarchy, as a siege-castle to nearby Barley Pound. Powderham was originally an earth and timber ringwork fortress, encased by a ditch and with a counterscarp bank. It is within the council area of Hart (Hampshire).
