Potton, Bedfordshire
Potton is a market town in Bedfordshire. King William II granted a market in 1094. In 1783 the Great Fire of Potton destroyed a large part of the town. The parish church of St Mary dates from the 13th century. The town is within the council area of Central Bedfordshire.
