Portmeirion Town Hall, Merionethshire

Portmeirion Town Hall is a 20th-century building in Portmeirion, Merionethshire. The town hall formed one of the buildings designed and commissioned by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis as part of his Mediterranean-style village of "Portmeirion". The town hall was designed in the Jacobean style, built in rubble masonry on the ground floor and in brick with a stucco finish on the first floor, and was completed in 1938. Williams-Ellis created the "Hercules Room" by acquiring the ceiling from the banqueting hall at Emral Hall, Flintshire just before it was demolished in 1936. It is within the council area of Gwynedd.
