Portglenone Forest, Londonderry / Antrim

Portglenone Forest is a forest lying either side of the River Bann in County Londonderry and County Antrim. Much of the forest on the east bank of the river (in County Antrim), notably Decoy Wood, is of ancient origin. The forest on the west bank of the river (in County Londonderry) mostly dates from the mid 20th century. It is within the council areas of Mid Ulster and Mid and East Antrim.
