Pontnewynydd, Monmouthshire

Pontnewyndd is a large village which now forms a northern suburb of Pontypool, Monmouthshire. The Pontnewynydd Iron Works once employed many people in the area. During the Second World War the works produced much of the corrugated iron for the Anderson shelters. It is within the council area of Torfaen.
