Pond Bay, Nottinghamshire

Pond Bay is a mediæval dam at Normanton on the Wolds, Nottinghamshire. The monument lies in woodland and takes the form of a substantial earth dam/embankment, up to at least 28ft high and around 470ft long. It was the dam to the mill pond of the mediæval mill. It is within the council area of Rushcliffe (Nottinghamshire).
