Pockthorpe, Yorkshire

Pockthorpe is a hamlet in Yorkshire, in the East Riding. The original village of Pockthorpe was depopulated following enclosure in the 18th century. The remains lie to the west of Pockthorpe Hall. The hall and adjacent farm, along with several scattered dwellings, make up the present-day hamlet of Pockthorpe. It is within the council area of East Riding of Yorkshire.
