Pembroke Dock, Pembrokeshire
Pembroke Dock is a major port town in Pembrokeshire standing lying north of Pembroke on the River Cleddau and serving as its port. The town was once a small fishing village known as Paterchurch, but the town was greatly expanded from 1814 onwards following the construction of a Royal Naval Dockyard. The town is within the council area of Pembrokeshire.
