Pembridge Castle, Herefordshire

Pembridge Castle is a mediæval border castle located west of Welsh Newton in Herefordshire. It was most likely constructed by Matilda de St Valery sometime before 1208. The castle is constructed of ashlar, sandstone and rubble walls and surrounded by a moat. It is within the council area of County of Herefordshire.
