Paxton's Tower, Carmarthenshire

Paxton's Tower is a Neo-Gothic folly erected in honour of Lord Nelson, situated on the top of a hill near Llanarthney, Carmarthenshire. The tower was built around 1806–1809 by by Sir William Paxton (1745–1824), a Scottish-born and London-raised merchant and banker. It is in the care of the National Trust. It is within the council area of Carmarthenshire.
